day 1 of twin oaks here in Cville was today the boy finished w/1st for the day.they are shooting again tomorrow...40 targets from huge moose down to lions and gators.hilly walk but a lot of traditional shooters .very nice , had a guy show me how to make a bow.lots of knowledge and great guys there.try them out tomorrow , maybe weather will hold out
 
for this shoot , peewee,youth(trad and compound seperate),hunter,open , self made bow,regular traditional, then different classes for sights, release etc .Pretty much bring it,after this shoot the rest of the year is traditional only and the classic you can learn hands on how to make a long bow very cheaply
 
Just curious, How many clubs are there around the Clarksville area? When I was at Ft. Campbell, I used to shoot with a friend of mine that lived in Dickson. There used to be Thorn Valley, Eagles nest, Calebs creek, and a few others. I'm hoping when I get to go see my mom this summer, I can maybe squeeze in a shoot or 2. I'm originally from Nashville, but now I live in (bubba) NC. LOL! That is where I got into 3-D shooting. Absolutely love it.

Eagles nest is difunct , don't know about the rest ..most come and go but twin oaks hangs around with great members not afraid to help.CK's has made a bigger indoor range and planning on tourneys in the near future!
