Two Kings

Way to be on high alert walking through the leaves! Most hunters probably would not have known there were birds in the area until they stumbled on the flock and busted them.

I didn't hear much gobbling either. I'd agree it seems like they are behind. I've also seen a lot more jakes this year compared to last year. It always gets trickier when jakes are cruising around in big groups.

Congrats Setterman!! Did the ol Dawkins aluminum and tulipwood striker get to play the game? Same for me this weekend gobbling has been non existent and I think I could of heard one three county's away plenty of scratching and sign though

Awesome, congrats! I really want to double like that with my son. I thought it might happen this evening as we called three to 80 yards but lost interest after not seeing the hen.

It's not that easy to time the shots, it seems it always gets a little nuts and not as smooth as you'd hope. It's fun and cool when it works though

Which decoys did you use? Asking for a friend...thanks and congrats!!
Ha, the old oak tree decoy it works great to hide me and also fools birds into thinking there's nothing dangerous around
