Definitely nervous. Maybe more anxious. Hopefully we've grown up enough to handle business, and I think we will, but GA State taught me not to take anything for granted.
UAB has great record, but competition has been light. Regardless of how bad the teams they play they know how to win, which I think counts for something.
Last line I saw was -13, and I think we'll cover. As usual, nothing would surprise me.

I'm concerned as well. We are notorious for playing down to our opponents dating back to the Butch Jones era.

Hopefully Pruitt has them fired up because I know UAB is coming in knowing they can win this one.

Agreed. They'll have every intention of winning, as well they should. If the team we've been watching shows up, I don't think it will be a problem. Maybe not a blowout, but comfortable. If we revert, it could be a long night.

I could never bet on UT because I'd end up losing money and what little sanity I have left.
I'd say that's a pretty good play at -13 and I would take it if I were betting.

Yeah I hear ya. Crazy as it sounds I'm not to the point you are, yet.
Don't get me wrong I think (now) Maurer is the clear starter but I think we're going to need 2 to continue to help us. If we get what we got last week from him we'll be ok. The other guys are just so young & still prone to mistakes.
Having said all that, I'm not blind and I understand why you're done with him & I wouldn't try to talk you out of it.

Didn't take away much from that game tonight. Felt good to win by 23 but UAB helped us out a lot. I'll take it anyway.

3 games left & they'll all be fights. Can't believe it's already this late in the season.

Incorrect!

It was obvious they did not want to play Maurer and risk another injury. Had the game been in doubt late, then I suspect he would have gone in.

Pruitt stated that Shrout would have played longer had he not tried to throw back against his body on his first pass attempt which should have been picked. That's why JG played most of the game.
