Ugggg

dont care for pretty days and high pressure for fishing even if the FAL is 100% lol.

could be worse, you could have been doing what i was this week. got hit in the head with a falling limb, got stabbed in the stomach by a dead cedar tree, fell down between two trees and the chain saw landed on top of me. id would have rather been fishing, even on a bluebird day.

ne or nne wind makes for very tough fishing.
Yesterday I had five Dr's from Spain out on a trip on Percy Priest lake. They were young, 28 ish.
None had ever fished before, none knew how to operate a spinning reel or baitcaster.
Fish were almost nonexistent and when we did find some clients had no idea how to jig spoons and watch Livescope to figure it out.
Finally found some and they wound up catching some largemouth bass, white bass, yellow bass and one 8.5
lb channel cat.
One DR said " we've been in the USA for one week and this is the best day we've had"!
Glad they enjoyed the day.

An old neighbor who has now passed on use to always tell me, winds out of the west, fish bite the best. Winds from the east, fish bite the least. Winds out of the south, you might hook them in the mouth. Winds out of the north, you ain't got no business being out there. Of course, he used a much more colorful language.:D
