Upgrading for next season

At least you admit it. I am stuborn in a lot of things so I understand. However, I have to have the most confidence possible in my gear when I take to the woods or my mind starts playing games.

It took me over ten misses before I finally put a scope on my turkey gun. My eyesight isn't that great (too stubborn to get glasses or contacts) and not keeping my cheek down was the problem. I put a Leupold 1.5-4x20 on my turkey gun and it fixed the problem completely.

That is what is so weird about this, because I am the same way as you. I guess sinking almost $1,800.00 in the new gun made me stupidly stubborn. Should have sold it, and moved on.

Having money invested in something will do that. My new duck gun had a hiccup shortly after I got it and I almost blew off a free trip to AR to hunt trying to deal with it. Luckily I got it steadied up and went down there and killed 2 limits in as many days and had a ball.
