Maybe he needed them for the juvy hunt this weekend? Maybe not, but it's maddening when you have stuff lost in shipping for far too long, whoever the carrier is.Maybe they know deer season is over, and you won't need them for a while.

It's no doubt a scam. That's why I put the at the end. I get them from time to time. Got one today from a # asking if I had plans tonight and if not how about dinner. I sent a pic of it to my wife and asked her if we had plans. I guess they work somewhere because I get them mostly in text messages and voicemails.Scam. I've received a few of those over time. One clue is the generality of the note. Notice that the package can't be delivered but somehow they know how to send you email. It doesn't even say whether this is a package you sent or if you were supposed to receive it. If it was legit the PO would simply return to the sender either way. Probably if you reply you will be asked all kinds of questions under the guise of assuring that it's for you. Once they get enough information from you the next thing you will hear is about charges on your credit card or something similar. Sort of like those scams where the "IRS" calls and asks you your SS number.
Hope u get it cleaned up . Good luck with that endeavor.People can't help but contaminate other forums. I was thinking about starting a thread on feminine hygiene on the trapping forum even though it would be more appropriate in the rifle forum seeing as they like to talk about 6.5 creed over there.
Mandated but not in practice.Since the Postal Reorganization Act came into effect in 1971, the USPS has been mandated to be self-financing and rely solely on revenue from stamps and package deliveries to support itself.[158][10] In 1982, postal stamps were changed to be categorized as products rather than a form of taxation, and since then, the Postal Service has no longer received taxpayer funding.[158]
