USPS 2 for 2

Speaking of the post office I just got this text message from them. Think it's legit? Sender appears so. 🤣

Scam. I've received a few of those over time. One clue is the generality of the note. Notice that the package can't be delivered but somehow they know how to send you email. It doesn't even say whether this is a package you sent or if you were supposed to receive it. If it was legit the PO would simply return to the sender either way. Probably if you reply you will be asked all kinds of questions under the guise of assuring that it's for you. Once they get enough information from you the next thing you will hear is about charges on your credit card or something similar. Sort of like those scams where the "IRS" calls and asks you your SS number.

It's no doubt a scam. That's why I put the 🤣 at the end. I get them from time to time. Got one today from a # asking if I had plans tonight and if not how about dinner. I sent a pic of it to my wife and asked her if we had plans. 😂 I guess they work somewhere because I get them mostly in text messages and voicemails.

I have been selling on eBay for 25+ years. I have always dropped my packages off at our local Post office and left them to scan at their convenience. They got a few new people recently. I shipped 4 packages one day...5 days later - NO SCAN. Like they hadn't been shipped. Went and talked to them, and talked to same guy i handed packages to that day. He didn't know anything about them and said they probably got stuck in Knoxville. Well..i knew better as they had no scan from the local post office. Next day...guess what.... magically scanned at the local post office and Knoxville. They were sitting there in local post office the whole time. But, with no scan , I have no way to prove I shipped and cannot claim insurance on them. So...from now on, i stand in line and make them scan them. Wasted time, but i have no choice.
 
There is a big scam going on with TEMU saying there is issues with USPS we need this information. TEMU has sent notices that it is a scam and they are having no issues with h USPS deliveries and to disregard messages.

Wow. Way to represent yourself and family. Also your company. Be a shame for someone to send all this to the higher ups and you be sitting at home looking for a job.

Relax dude. No one is bashing you. Larger companies simply have more problems. Sometimes it's management sometimes it's employees. Don't take it so personal. Heck the health care system I use to work for sucked. Had more complaints than many others. But there was still good ppl there trying their best to care for patients and do the right thing.

Heck I work for myself and sometimes get pissed off at my management (wife) lol.
 
One of my neighbors recently retired from USPS. A couple of times lately he's been on a rant about our postal service. Seems like we've gone several days on more than one occasion without getting mail. He's all bent out of shape about it and called them more than once. I didn't even notice we weren't getting mail and for the most part didn't care.
