Army is officially taking their place. Definitely more deserving, and that is not meant as a slight to UT. I don't understand how several of these fans and teams with losing records can get fired up about their bowl games, especially when Army wasn't invited

I don't get it either .

That's kinda my point, Gravey, and maybe I didn't phrase it very well. Bowls now have so many conference affiliations and automatic ties that they are often poor matchups, and the deserving teams that have earned their way are getting passed over. Not very compelling for the sport IMO. Thus should have been worked out far before naming losing teams to bowl games

Didn't wanna go 3-8 LOL

Kinda cancels out Fat Phil's comment about the bowl game being a springboard for Pruitt and the team next year though?????

I read down the list of bowls and the only one that sounded like a decent match up to watch would possibly be the Georgia Cincinnati game .
Still not going to watch but it would be the only game worthy of watching

Coach and staff tested positive. No reason to play. You lose, it makes the season that much worst. Plus, if Eric Gray doesn't play again, you are get questioned constantly about why. This season couldn't end fast enough for the Vols.
