UT v UT

I watched the last two minutes.

Think I'd rather get blown out than make that comeback, have an open shot to win it, and not get it done. I hate it for James.

Had he made the shot, he'd finally be getting some love. As it is, it just adds to the "bust" label thats been placed on him.

In reading other board, why wasn't Chandler in the game at the end?
 
Ziggler got the vols back in the game his gonna be real good in 2 years.

I agree with the commentators chandler may be the NBA 5* first round draft pick, but Z is more important to this team and will become the much better player wearing a UT jersey then chandler.

First half ended in a tie, Texas came out and beat the crap outta the vols to start the second half ziggler came in made some huge plays. JJJ made some good 3's Texas missed some foul shots to let the vols hang around then JJJ missed the open game winner heck of a game.

O yeah Vescovi got shut completely down, and didn't know what to do when Texas wouldn't let him shoot the 3 ball. Took multiple bad shots ended up with only 3pts and 0 three pointers.

Yeah kinda odd to have the guy that's shooting 26% from 3 coming into the game shot a 3pt down by 1.
 
I hate to say it but that was terrible coaching, at the end. Had opportunity to capitalize with layup and you give it to James for the 3. He made a couple 3s but both were uncontested. He's terrible under pressure. The only shooter last night for the vols was Z. I'd love to have 4 more with his heart. I use to feel that way about fulky but I'm not sure what happened to him.We did play decent defense but Texas should've beaten us by more than one.

I agree Texas should have beat UT by more then 1. They missed 3 outta 4 foul shots to close the game if they hit those UT don't even have a chance at the buzzer.

The vols had 3 and 4 year starters on the Court Fulkerson is a super senior, and a 5* #1 PG in the country, and they had to have a true freshman no one wanted keep them in the game. I've questioned why JJJ and Fulkerson, and some of these other guys have fell off under Barnes and true freshman seem to be leading the

Vescovi The only upper classmen that's been somewhat consistent all year got shut down and didn't know what to do.
 
I agree about the last second play call. Gotta question that, but the kid had a wide open look.

Great comeback though that the team can build off of.

We got #6 Purdue on the road today. Great win at Minnesota last Thursday, but today is a different animal.
