Although they, like every other brand, have their problems, I'm still a fan of my Uway NT50B cameras. In fact, I'll be buying more soon.

One of my longest lived cameras is one of the original Scoutguard 550 units.
 
I use the nt50 and haven't had a lick of problems, but IMO HCO has awesome customer support if you do have a problem.

I have three NT50Bs (one preproduction model and two production models) and all three have the same glitchy problems. All of them, from time to time, only record the first picture in a burst-mode series. That first picture will say "1/5" on it (first of five), but no subsequent pictures will be recorded. This happens randomly. I can't figure out a pattern to these occurances.

All of them also have the occasional problem of reseting the date and time back to default (01/01/1970 00:00:00) when taking a picture. Again, no real pattern to when this occurs.

I worked with Uway in the development of the NT-series cameras (I was a field tester). They have no answer for my problems.

However, I've hypothesized that these problems might be linked to the fact I use alkeline batteries instead of the recommended rechargeables.

You must have a remote to operate the NT50 series cameras. However, if you already have one or two remotes, then you can buy further cameras without remotes (which makes them considerably cheaper).
 
I have no idea what rockytopmojo is selling them for, but recently I've been buying all my cams from Busy Bee Outdoors due to there exceptional customer service and good prices.
