With the thin snow layer, this piebald buck is probably camoed better than he ever will be!

I thought so too. And that series of pics of him (1 trigger, 5 burst mode pics) are the only pics I got of him. The pictures were taken the morning after Christmas and he's working a traditional scrape.

you got that right. i seen a shoulder mount pie bald deer and they took the rest of his coat and draped it over the deer. it looked really good and was not near as much as a full body mount.

i wander how much of the white is genetic? last summer i got pics of a little 8pointer with 4 white socks half way to his knees. plus he has a white spot on his forehead. Then later in the year i got a doe with the same pattern but with more white on her belly. im thinking its his mother but who knows.
