Deer can see shades of gray, right? So if a solid black camera were camo'd a bit to help match tree bark would that help with concealment any appreciable amount?

Camo might help, but deer notice anything new and different in their environment.

And by the way, deer see colors, just not the way we see them (they see colors as combinations of blue, green and yellow).
