So, tomorrow a long time friend and myself are going after some Reelfoot Lake crappie. We will be going in his boat, because he wants me to see how livescope works. I cant say that I'm not anxious to see it in action. At least after tomorrow I can give a legit reason as to why I won't have one. #idontneedlivescopetocatchfish #videofishing

All jokes aside. I can see where people who normally don't catch fish would like livescope. It probably helps them and makes them feel good about themselves. Me personally, I very rarely turn on my TV at home, so why would I want to watch a TV screen when I'm fishing? I won't ever have livescope. Period.

hopefully it wont be like, hey man these fish arent biting think we should move to another spot? naw these fish should bite. 3 hours later-still sitting on top of the same non-biting fish.
Well we were off the water before noon. Only 2 fish we caught were after we quit playing video games and started fishing.

I had that happen when i first bought mine, lol.I actually turned it off a couple trips because it would drive me crazy, but finally figured it out.The days i turned it off when i first got it i started catching when i turned it off both times.🤣

I'm still not exactly sold on it myself. I like the perspective mode better than forward mode for what I do. I can't maintain boat control well enough to spot specific fish and stay on them long enough to see my lures fall, etc and when using spotlock, the transducer goes all over the place with it trying to maintain position. I do have a separate pole for it now but don't have it on the boat yet. I will say, this newest update did a world of difference for clarity vs the one from a month or so ago.

Pole will make it easier,im still running old software in mine, the one before perspective i believe.Installed the new livescope plus on a buddies boat today and took it out this evening, the new ones even better.
