We were picked at SEC media days to finish 7th in the conference I do believe so yeah we did alright.

UT offensive line had a couple of series in which they outperformed the OSU defense; other than that, OSU controlled both lines of scrimmage. The OSU quarterback had a hot-hand all night. I think he played above his normal level. He had very few incompletions. The one interception he threw was a good throw; the refs missed the defensive pass interference and the UT defensive back made a spectacular catch.

I thought the 2nd half was going to turn into a tight game but OSU played exceptional well the entire game.

If you told me when the season started Vols would finish regular season 10-2, beat Florida and Alabama, and play in the playoffs I'd have taken it. They just got outmatched at every position last night. Now they've got the next year to be mad and do something about it to get better or hang their heads and go hide in a corner. Will say a lot about their character on which they do. Hats of to OSU. They se a heckuva game.

Good perspective. UT is heading in right direction and had alot to look forward to
