Bleacher report game preview has the vols winning 27-24. But they have been way wrong a couple times this year on there scores happens to everyone i guess in football
they did bring up some good points like how UT has already played some hard games on the road, UGA,Oklahoma, ole miss, and bama at home also so they dont think SC can really throw anthing at this young team they have not seen yet .
and something i did not realize UT only gave up 2 sacks vs bama! only 1 with dobbs in the game. And ran the ball well can they repeat that? UT will be playing hard to get to 6-6 also.
Im gonna guess 17-20 vols

The big question is gonna be whether Dobbs can replicate that performance. He no doubt has better mobility than Worley. He looked confident in the game. But he did have some wild passes. If he continues playing confident and gets a handle on his passes, he is going to go far. SC defense is not up to the challenge this year against anybody IMO. Offensively they proved they can score some points.

CBJ is gonna have to start trusting the team to make 4th and 1s and go for some. I didn't disagree with his call on the field goal at Bama though. Time running out before halftime you have to go with the better percentage of scoring points there.

Some are saying that Bama wasn't prepared for Dobbs and that others will now be prepared for him. Do Bammers honestly think that Nick Saban wasn't aware that Dobbs was probably gonna play and NOT be prepared for it? I don't think so. What he wasn't prepared for was how well Dobbs would play.

Yup i think saban knew dobbs had a good chace to play in that game and if he didnt kiffin would have reminded him:)dobbs just played better then people thought he would.
SC im sure has seen the film, they might put alot of bodies near the line of scrimmage or leave some line backers to spy on dobbs and force UT to win throwing the ball.

SC is favored by 8.

Would love to get the upset, but will have to see it to believe it.

I know one thing, the SC fans have to be praying that Spurrier moves on. To go from a pre-season top 10 team to 4-4 at this point has to be one of the biggest flops in his history. I think he has peaked at SC.

Uncle Smokey will be giving his prediction on this game when he returns from gator wrestling in the Glades.

Since he's 3-0 on TnDeer and has the only proven perfect record. Standby for the football source... :D

I agree that he has peaked out, time for retirement. When he retires,South Carolina will just sink back to the depths they came from.South Carolina has been in the Sec for over 20 years and never even won the SEC East division

He went 11-2 three seasons prior to this year. That is fantastic by SC Standards...and much better than the Vols have been in the past decade. He could easily still win 7 games this year and is far more likely than not to get Bowl Eligible. The Old Ball Coach has earned his right to have a mediocre year.

The relative weakness of the East this year, AND he beat the likely winner of the East, is a flop.

And as bad as the Vols have been, he's only 4-3 against us, and 5-2 against Vandy!

Also, I didn't rank them preseason top 10 :D !

I don't think TN has the Offense to score enough to beat SC...especially on the road. Both teams have a decent Defense. I look for a low scoring game.

TN 17
SC 23

The Vols offense changes a bit with Dobbs, Vols actually ran the ball more on bama than any team this year, 181 yds, I think the average was somewhere around 78
