Walleye Caviar?

Has anyone ever tried eating walleye eggs? I kept probably a half pound of walleye eggs last night out of one walleye. Thoughts on taste and/or recipes to try?

deep fry em. dont know about walleye but crappie and big gizzard shad roe are pretty good. i imagine walleye would taste the same.

When I was younger, I liked the eggs from bluegill. Haven't had them in many years. I would imagine walleye to be similar.
