watch rapeis and mariota run the 40 at the same time...

I feel like jameis could've run better than that. If he had a hi point nine milly in his waist band while runnin from the popo, he'd of run a 4.2. Chasing a teen aged white girl down an alley, 4 flat.

Last 40 yard dash he will ever have to run redblood. Even with that showing he still smoked Mariotta. The combine showed how far BEHIND Winston Mary really is.Choir boy will be somewhat of a bust just as tebow was.

Here are some of the comments from NFL Network's commentators ... as well as some Tweets.

"Winston is disproving the theory that a QB can't look good throwing the ball to WR's he's never worked with. Making it look so easy."
-- Former Baltimore Ravens coach Brian Billick, NFL Network analyst, on Twitter

"Let's be honest here. This guy is fantastic."
"Winston has had one perfect throw after another."
-- NFL Network host Rich Eisen

"He's got great touch on the ball. Every throw isn't 100 mph."
-- Former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, on NFL Network broadcast

"His touch and accuracy is kinda scary at times."
"Look at that throw right there from Winston. These are NFL throws."
-- NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock

"Jameis Winston's natural accuracy is rare. Unique trait. Makes it look so easy!"
-- ESPN analyst Todd McShay, on Twitter

"That ball jumps off of Jameis Winston's hands. ... When he throws that ball, it just jumps off his hands. It's incredible."
-- Former NFL receiver Michael Irvin, on NFL Network broadcast

"How bout that arm on #Jameis Winston? Time to start searching for a place to live in Tampa."
ESPN anchor Max Berios. :smash: :smash:

All that I have been hearing all week is that both did well at the combine, but that Mariota pulled ahead of Jameis due to his interview (Mariota's was supposed to be on par with Russell Wilson's and other high-IQ QBs), and that Mariota showed better ability to work and make throws from the pocket than what had been reported previously, not to mention that his 40 time was faster than many well-known WRs (even though straight-line, stripped down 40 time is a poor indicator of talent; much less QB talent)... But this is all hypothetical, as the media just wants to get people talking and viewership, and they do not know what the teams are actually writing down about these guys on their "hiring matrix."
