We got Poults But?

Has this ole gal got a beard?

Not seen many at all this year 1or 2 with what I have seen ...nothing like last year .There were full clutches

Pretty good beard too but i bet she dont have poults. I have seen a whole bunch of hens with beards over the years and havent ever seen one with babies followin her.

There's a little one just in front of her at the bottom of the pic. Of course anybody's guess if it's hers or the other hen in the pic.

Yep. if she didnt I would seriously doubt she would be traveling with a hen and her poults.

there was a bearded hen around my sister's place for a couple of years. she had poults both years.

Well thats good because your the first person thats actually ever told me they seen one with poults.I personally have seen quite a few bearded hens over the years and have never seen one with poults. I always thought somethin was wrong with em.

Yep the one at my dads house has 8 poults this year and has a pretty good size beard too.
