With all the problems that get hashed and rehashed at other schools, it's pretty hypocritical to not mention the news in Knoxville today. Shame on the self-rightious vols and reminding me of the hypocracy that infests its fanbase.

There you go. If they are found guilty, torch both of em.

Now go kick some rocks. Preferably in the highway.

Hadn't seen that today

No longer Vol players. Were kicked off immediately.

Like mentioned, IF found guilty, fry them!

I find it amusing that of all people, you want to call somebody self righteous. Talk about being a hypocrite.

???? This was dealt with, butch removed then from the team immediately, no delay, no cover up. This was grand jury, in case you don't know that doesn't mean your guilty, it means you go to trial. If guilty, I hope they punish them as severely as possible, if they could hang them from the sack then i would be for it.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about....just trolling again

Kicked off team when the allegations came to light. Not sure I agree with that part but know why it was done. Innocent til proven guilty doesn't fly in college sports anymore. If they find them guilty then they ought to hang along side the Vanderbilt rapists.

I know people do extremely stupid things all the time but I have a hard time believing that aj is guilty of this crime. This guy was a few weeks away from having a college degree, and entering the nfl draft where he surely would have become very wealthy. Why would an obviously smart dude with everything going his way do something so dumb? I don't know why it took so long to bring charges against them, but something about this case smells fishey.

What is this "hypocracy" you speak of that is infecting our fan base? Is this a new disease? I expect these new words from real Updykes but you have no ties to the school or the state. Interesting.

Just read an article in the Tennessean newspaper that names Williams as one of two indicted but doesn't name Johnson as the other. Says Williams was arrested and let go on bond but nothing on Johnson. What am I missing here? We all know Johnson is the other one accused so why would his name go unmentioned and only referred to as the other individual indicted?

Never mind. Channel 5 just named both and said Johnson has not turned himself in yet. Still odd the paper would name Williams and not Johnson.

Technically not correct, Both were suspended. Williams is still on the Roster and attending classes. Thought I would clear that up.

At Florida this girl would have been paid off and never heard of and these guys could have finished their year and we would never have heard any story on it and Johnson could have went on to be drafted. Instead these guys were removed on allegations, now they are indicted so there is something more to go on. But I think butch did all he could do, at the time all they were facing was allegations, kicking them off for allegedly doing something is not the right thing to do unless and until you know all the facts they have been convicted of crimes or violations of team rules.

This has nothing to do with UF and just wanted to clear up a technicality.

Both were suspended indefinately immediatly. Neither player has participated in any team activities since that time. AJ Johnson graduated the University of TN in December and now is not affiliated with the university in any capacity. I dont see Williams making a return either. For all intents and purposes, they were dismissed from the team.
