We seem to be skipping an important topic

Both were suspended indefinately immediatly. Neither player has participated in any team activities since that time. AJ Johnson graduated the University of TN in December and now is not affiliated with the university in any capacity. I dont see Williams making a return either. For all intents and purposes, they were dismissed from the team.

We know this but there is a difference in being kicked off the team and suspended immediately. Suspended indefinitely: That the period of suspension has no assigned end, at this time. The suspension will continue until the suspending authority decides that it is over. It may be that there is a set schedule for them to review the suspension, or there may be some action you need to take to resolve the suspension. Being kicked off the team means you are gone period.

Keep in mind that I'm not saying that CBJ didn't take the appropriate actions but there is a difference and most coaches across the country are handling these type cases in the same manner until they are cleared up.

What is the general consensus from everyone on this case? I am wondering why it took so long to bring charges against these guys. It seems that if there was much, or any evidence against them charges would have come right away. For aggrivated rape the bond seems low. For some reason I believe aj is innocent. Either way this whole thing has screwed his life up. If he did it, he should fry. If he didn't, he just got screwed out of his last few college football games and possibly millions of dollars of nfl money.

I would think that if it was a cut and dried case of rape with substantial evidence, they would have been arrested when KPD finished their investigation. That leads me to believe the evidence is weak OR it is unclear on who done what. Something seems hinky to me also.

X2. Something seems fishy to me. If he's found innocent he's been screwed royally. Saw today where the NFL combine rescinded its invitation to AJ. If they're found guilty hang them along with the Vanderbilt rapists.

I agree with you.

If he us innocent then these accusations have ruined the life he could of had. His dream of nfl and millions of dollars are gone now, guilty or not.
