Didn't get on the water till 1:00 p.m. so that would be my pick as the WORST time to try and catch catfish. 
We fished for them for about an hour and caught 3 fiddlers.
Then we went after bream.
Ended up with "about" 50 in the cooler with probably 10 +/- of them being pretty good shellcracker.
Not a bad way to spend the afternoon.
It was HOT sitting there in the sun.
The good thing was all the bream we caught we were in the shade.
