Jakefest in Davidson County. 11 jakes total, 4 hens and two distant peacocks! LOL! Man, I was trying to put a long beard on one of these jakes, he was much bigger than the rest. But at 5 yds. all I could see was a little Hitler 'stache and nubs. It was a great day, nearing the end of maybe my first 0-fer since I began turkey hunting, even though I didn't kill one. Not one gobble on roost up until I called it quits at around noon.
