Congratulations nice bird buddyWatched 4 toms last night go to roost. Right before fly up 2 of them got in a brawl with the other 2 and they ended up roosting on different sides of a power line.
Snuck in this morning and set up, hen flew down at 5:45 and 5mins later 2 of the toms flew down. No sooner then their feet hit the ground did the other 2 toms fly down. It was total mayhem with all 4 of them fighting like crazy. 2 of the birds that lost were pushed out and came walking in strutting an gobbling 30yds from me.
Literally had to wait 15mins for enough light to take a picture lol.
how it played out was kinda my hope and plan all along. Funny enough after watching them last night at 100yds I literally couldn't sleep last night due to anticipation. Was the first hunt all season where I was that jacked up to go
