if I had the money today it would be between the straight 284 Win shooting 180 Bergers,,and the 6.5 Creedmore shooting 142 Sierra`s

i am thinking of getting one built after reading about them.

performance wise the 6.5x55 would work great,,but it needs a long action to seat the 142`s where they need to be,,the 6.5 Grendel will do anything it will in a short action with less powder..

savage .243 32" heavy barrell 1/7.5 twist. would shoot great with almost no recoil.
