What Contest?

No problem here. My daughter has wooped every man on here so far, including me! A six bearded bird, she is a little spoiled. I cant speak for anyone but me. I have never like the idea of a contest when it comes to hunting. I should have never agreed to be put in.

We got plenty of nice birds but choose not to enter!! With that being said I am shaking my head at all the 7/8 spurs being listed as 1 1/8 after the pic clearly shows what the length really is!! And not a thing being said about it!!

If anyone has an issue with pics, they should be brought to the team captains attention. We as Captains have a PM thread for discussing issues.

I think the pic showing them coming out of the skin is silly.

Honor system should be used but it is a challenge to mix it with hard proof beyond doubt.

The showing of the multi-beard seperation is no different than showing the tape next to the beard(s) & spurs.... or showing the turkey on a scale... It is giving "visual proof" to authenticate the NWTF score for which you are entering.

As we have already talked about in our PM, it may be DQ'ed from the contest due to the rule "violation", but it's a great bird and so was your daughters... I can only hope to get that lucky before my hunting career is over.
