An assortment of mouth calls from David Halloran, Gooserbat, Woodhaven, and Houndstooth.

A pair of pants, shirt, and hat in Bottomland.

An Alps Outdoorz vest with kickstand. I considered one last year but didn't get it. REN was looking at them this year (he got one) and I wound up getting one too.

I wanted a striker or two, but I wasn't planning on buying the clothes AND the vest, so I quit before I blew way too much money. I have a couple of Lyman's on the way anyway.

What'd you get?

I bought some soup mixes, a curling iron, a leather purse, some jewelry, a dozen duck calls, a couple elk calls, pocket knives, yeti cups, some yard decorations, and... one of those remote control 4wd turkey decoys.

Friday I bought some Mouth calls from my new friend Jonathan Shull who owns Appalachian Custom Calls. Made in East Tennessee and $5 each.

I want one of the dead end calls strikers for wet weather. I have their brochure. May order one.

I decided to pass this year as I got in my second D. Dawkins call on Monday. I now have more quality pot calls than I want to carry, so there wasn't much of a need to further tempt myself. I also knew I would be pretty turned off by all of the fanning bs for sale.

Take an old wooden striker of some sorts and dip the end in Jb weld and you will have as good of all weather striker as you can buy.

I bought that Striker for $8 it's impressive. It will run on every thing wet or dry. I've tried already lol!
