What did you do today in the reloading room?

The Barnes 110 Tac-Tx is an awesome bullet. I've shot hogs and a couple does with it. Received my best accuracy with H110.
I'm not sure what velocity I will get from a 10.5 inch barrel. It may or may not be suitable for hunting. It's a strange concept to me to hunt with an AR pistol but I'm not above trying it!

A 10.5" barrel is optimum for a 300BLK, it gets complete powder burn and you get very little extra with a longer barrel. I have both 16" and 10.5" in ARs and a 16" Rem700, haven't noticed any issues with hogs so think deer wouldn't be a problem.

Hope to find a load pretty quick and they'll all be filled.

You got me beat. We've been moved over a year now and I still go to our other house 15 minutes away to reload in my hobby room. I know I eventually have to move it because we will end up selling that house too. I'm just not looking forward to it.

Yesterday, I loaded some 195 EOL's over N570 for the 7 PRC. Hoping to hit 3000 fps.

Loaded 143 eldx over N560 for a Tikka 6.5 PRC Superlite.
Keep us posted on the 7 PRC load. I'm using N570 with mine. I'm going to try a few with LRT because my 28 Nosler loves it. Maybe I can do with just the one powder. I have to try the 570 in nosler first to be sure.

Bought a new rifle, A Marlin 1894 Classic lever gun in.357. Now I can start working on good loads for it. I have H 110, and Rem. 158 JHPs, and 158 gr. hard cast SWCs And Hornady 158 XTPs. Hopefully these should work nicely. Also have the Ruger GP 100, and the Taurus Tracker both in .357

I tried several different recipes of 75 gr Hammer HHT's in my 243 today but just didn't have any luck. Everything was around 2 inches. I really wanted that bullet to work, but I can load them in 6ARC so they won't waste. The 95sst is shooting so tight in that 243 rifle so maybe I should just go with it but really want a bullet that will hold together better. I'll just keep testing I reckon until I find the magic load.

Try the 95 ballistic tip or the 80 gmx/cx

45grs h4831 .090" off with the gmx shoots fantastic from all 3 of mine.

The 95 ballistic tip is quite tough as well.
