It the blades still shave, go for #2. Back when NAP made a really good Thunderhead 125, I killed a bear, an elk and two deer with same broadhead and same blades.
I SHOOT ROCKET ULTIMATE STEEL HEADS AND HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO USE THEM A SECOND TIME GOT REBUILD, WIL CHANGE HEADS TO SLICK TRICKS WHEN I RUN OUT OF ROCKETS
I shoot Magnus Stingers and just resharpen them. They also have a lifetime unconditional replacement. So, if I'm feeling lazy, or damaged one, I can just send it back to them, and they will send me a new one.
I replace the blade. 14 to 17 bucks for replacement blades. Killed a doe this weekend and I'm replacing mine tonight.
Although the blade is still very sharp. Would probably kill many more deer. The broadhead didn't dig into the ground though.
