not wanting to know what target!

when i was learning to shoot we used to shoot at paper plates, yep we was poor
then i moved up to crab apples that way we didnt have to go inside to get something to shoot at now i soot at the size of a coke can bottom is this your common practice or do yu shoot at a smaller target ?

Depends on what I'm working on, but I try to shoot at the smallest spot I can see/focus on at the distance I'm shooting.

Me too jay. Ufortunately I don't have hawk's eyes. My favorite thing to shoot at is the plastic cap off of a 20oz coke bottle. I can hit those out to 40 and after that I do like you and try something about the size of the bottom of a coke/beer can.

I stick a golf tee in my bag target and try to hit it at 20-25 yards.

at 20yds me and my brother in law will play nock hunting. try to hit each others nocks. You be amazed at how tight groups get when playing. we got good enough now we have to play at 30yds.

I shoot at flies while they are flying in front of my target at 30 yards. It is still April fools day right? Really I shoot 1" dots all the way out to 40yds.
