Never seen a fanbase so desperate for validation. Talking heads have been saying all summer and fall that the vols were improving. Funniest part is it took a last ditch desperation move at QB to show the improvement.

Yeah it was last ditch all right. It only took Worley getting his arm ripped off to make a QB change. I wouldn't say desperate for validation either. More like being tired of being put down every time somebody mentions the Vols, on here especially.

The last ditch remark was the complete failure of the decision to play Peterman over Dobbs in the first place. Had nothing to do with Worley. I sure can remember the hell Worley caught from vol fans his first two years. That was not nice.

If you think the remarks here make you hurt, go read some of the stuff on an open sports forum. You're not going to get much negative feedback from a vol message board. BTW, this isn't one of those, as much as some here would like for it to be.
