What is the easiest/most common thing to forget?

I bought a new release yesterday. I put it in my pack so I wouldn't forget it.

I hope you shot it, or at least tested it on your bow with one of your hunting arrows.

I bought a back-up release, and didn't realize that the jaws were a little longer than my other one. When I put it on my string loop, I couldn't close the jaws because it hit the end of the arrow nocks. Fortunately my new Easton Epics have slightly shorter nocks, so now it itsn't a problem for me.

Yep, shot it the day I got it to check it out.

Drove off and left my boots behind once. Also forgot safety harness. I don't go up a tree without mine so i was ground hunting.

Re: What is the easiest/most common thing to forge

I left my release in the truck once.

Took a 20 yd,broadside shot, on a fat Doe.

Found out that I can not finger shoot.

I never even found the arrow I shot.

Bug spray...lol...when its warm those bugs will light you up.

Agree,but I use a Theromcel.

Didn't use either one September day,and the chiggars ate me up.
I almost had to go to the hospital the day after. Had more than hundreds of bites.

Finally, someone told me to take a hot bath with baking soda.
It worked.

I was still not in good shape, but I could function.

Thermacell wouldn't have worked on chiggers . They only work on flying insects.

Re: What is the easiest/most common thing to forge

i also have an extra in my bag ive dropped mine before that sucks when you do that

Re: What is the easiest/most common thing to forge

The belt that goes around the tree for my safety harness is the one I forget. I have a back up release that doesn't EVER leave my back pack. Oh and Cell phone is easy for me to forget for some reason.

i have forgotten my pull rope before but the most aggrevating thing ive forgotten is my light for morning hunts. Theres no feeling like being all excited and ready to walk to your stand in the early morning darkness only to realize you dont have a light to see!!

Re: What is the easiest/most common thing to forge

I'm the worlds worst at forgetting things.. Have hunted about 6 or 7 times this year and 2 of those times I forgot my bow..
