Surprising as it might sound,.. out of all the calls i have,..even custon calls,the knight@ hale silver hammer with a custom cedar striker has really worked for me the past few years. It sounds terrible to me,.. but what i hear is not what a gobbler hears,..and they seem to really like it. 2 years ago i was cutting on this call and striker at 11 AM and had birds gobbling on every hillside around me,.. some gobbling so far away i could barely hear them. It never lets me down each year at some point.
