What release do you use?

I actually use two releases that I have modified to create one. The releases I use to combine are the cheap one you can buy at Wal-Mart for like $10, and the Tru-Fire Hurricane Extreme that has the flemsy rope between the head and the strap.
I take the solid rod and strap on the cheapo release and fit it to the Tru-Fire head. I know you can buy releases this way but the let-off on this head is like 1/2#. I think if you blew on it hard enough, it would release.
It takes a little work but in the end I get what I want and love the way it works.

I just got a new Tru-Fire Hardcore and I really like it. The hook has not failed me yet and I've been shooting fairly regularly. It has a lot of adjustment and the fold back feature is really nice. I had a Tru-Ball Cyclone before and I never realized how crappy it was until I got this new one. A lot of folks really like the Scotts, though. Especially the Goose.

Scott caliper. I had a redhead before this one and I liked it better. The scott has a very hard trigger and it's not very crisp.

Scratch that! I did a little searching this morning and found out you can adjust the trigger on this release!
Take my word though! When they say make only small adjustments at a time they mean it! :D
