I let mine bark back to back this morning. My buddy got his first deer with it and then handed it to me and the wonderful sound of a lever action racking another round and BANG another deer down.

308 WIN semi-automatic, 16" barrel 1:10 twist rate with Nikon M-Tactical.
My all time favorite slinging 200gr and there's just something special about hunting with an old school lever action. Especially if it was one that your father took pride and joy in.
I opted to take my Winchester Model 70 300 WSM. Last rifle kill was in 2020 with my Remington Model 710 30-06. I like to give them equal time.

Exactly, I do actually have this exact gun. Talk about expensive ammo though. But it is fun to shoot.Perfect. No sense getting off the couch to deer hunt is there!

I hunted opening weekend of rifle with my trusted Remington 700 7mm mag. I took a good 10 pt. My dad passed away a couple years ago so this weekend I think I am going to take his Remington 700 25-06. He loved that gun.
