Whatever happened to JG on his goal line play

he cost us a chance to win this game. Would have been an epic last few minutes to see what Bama tried to do to run out the clock (not likely). And we had just driven right down the field. Oh well.

SEC Network dissects the play with camera angle from above. We WALK in for the TD on the left side if JG hands the ball off. The hole is huge. No wonder Pruitt was livid.

If he hands it off it's an absolute walk in. LBs react to QB sneak here but even if JG spins to hand off they are already out of position in the A gap and it's a TD.

Wont be the first or last time a player ran the wrong assignment or made the wrong call. There's a good chance that JG will be the starting QB against SC since the fr. had his bell rang two weeks in a row.

UT was down by two scores on that drive. It was not like it was putting them ahead.

Bama had the ball in the red zone at the end of the game to run out the clock. I would assume they would have scored to answer if UT had scored on that play.

Bama was not trying to run the score up after Tua went down. TN was never gonna win that game. Maybe had some bad calls but every team every Saturday can say the same thing.
