What's the score of the UT vs UF game.

I'm originally from Florida, and have been a happy TN resident for 11 years, but still a die hard Gator fan. My best friend has a new girl friend that is a die hard UT fan. She invited me and my wife to a little sports bar in Smyrna, TN for the game. Now, I'm good with some friendly banter, especially since I thought, realistically, that UT would probably win this game, based on last year's performance and all the UF suspensions, but this girl talked smack for two straight weeks. I proudly walked into that bar with my UF gear, even though I knew I would be outnumbered by UT fans. I was the ONLY ONE!!! Since I thought UT would win, I started my jabs back at her early and often. Towards the end of the game, she started getting real quiet...then real mad...lol. I'm not that obnoxious FL fan, but if you talk smack for 2 weeks...you gotta expect to get some back. Especially, and she admitted it would be so, if UT would have won, I would not have heard the end of it until next year!! Good win for UF, hope they don't fire Butch, I think he's the best they've had since Fulmer. Better luck next year.

Now you know how the Vol fans feel on here after the past few years. Congrats on the win. Gators did what they needed. Neither team is very good.

The east is going to wild and the winner will probably have two losses.

Now you know how the Vol fans feel on here after the past few years. Congrats on the win. Gators did what they needed. Neither team is very good.

The east is going to wild and the winner will probably have two losses.

I agree, neither is very good. I think if we could keep our players out of trouble / jail, we'd have a shot. Reminds me of the old Miami & Seminole days. Damn disappointing. I'm sandwiched between a UT & Georgia fan in my neighborhood, so IF we can beat GA, all will be good in the hood.

Yep, I lived in TN almost 30 years and most of my friends are Vol fans. They use to blow up my home phone after a Vol's win (No cell phones back then). Now they just blow up my cell phone with text and calls. I have been safe for the most part but when they do win, it's coming.... :rotf:

It's all in fun but some of the guys/gals are pretty serious. They live and die with their teams... :)
