It looks like there are some strange growths or warts on this deer, but I have no clue what exactly they are. Does anyone know? Also I haven't had the first mature buck on camera this year, but the second buck is the best one yet with a nice sticker point coming off the left brow, except he's missing some G3's! Too bad...

Wha Andy S. said. Not to worry. They are just like human warts. They do not affect the aninmal's health or the meat.

Thanks for the input! I don't prefer to shoot a buck this size unless I need to. Do you all think that would be neccessary, or can I let him walk? I just don't want the virus to spread and the deer suffer from more warts.

Glad to hear that the warts are nothing to worry about! Interesting to see what the buck looks like next year, ie..more warts, larger warts, etc.?
