What's your best bird

beards, i killed one with 6 beards in 2006.

Beard doesnt mean anything to me, body weight either, just that he had a good winter, and hasnt been running many hens. Spurs make the bird. I have taken three sets of solid 1-1/2 spurs, with my best being a 1-5/8. 26 lbs heaviest weight, 11 1/2 beard longest.

I have been very blessed in the odd bird category. I have killed 2 double bearded birds and one bird that had 4 spurs.


My biggest had 2 beards 10-3/4 and 8-3/4 and

only killed 2 long beards but best was 22 pounds. 10 inch beard and not sure about spurs.
