My daughter as well……with no buck tags, she decided not to go. We were going to go this afternoon to try to kill a doe but decided to stay in.
Weather got us. The entrance to the farm we hunt is at the top of a steep road with long drop offs, so we didn't risk it.

My son didn't really want to go either.
I was squirrel hunting Yanahli this weekend and the only people around were running rabbit dogs. I hunted a couple different places and didn't see a single deer hunter or vehicle that could have been.

Buddy of mine's son killed a nice 8 Saturday eve and 2 does Sunday morning. He was only kid I know in this area that even hunted.
Colt killed this buck Saturday. It was the only deer we saw.

i'm a bit surprised that so many didn't go. i irritated my father to death as a kid wanting to go, and snow made it even more fun. then, i could see tracks at least, and know there were deer around even if i didn't see any.
I would of loved to have gone
I'd have tripped over myself back when I was a youngun to deer hunt in the snow.
