Which brand of cell camera is best?

This may open a can of worms but I have never used any cell cams. I can get a fairly weak cell signal along the top of our ridge and considering trying a few. Suggestions welcome.
 
Subject entirely to opinions.

I have had zero issues getting signal on my stealth cams. They run on Verizon or att. I don't really have any complaints with the three cams I have out this season other than that the revolver has some issues with moisture on the lens. First stealth I got is on its third season.
 
reconyx is probably the best cameras on the market have been for a while. I'm switching most of mine to wise eyes and Spartans. I'll keep some of my tactacams and garde pros for my cheaper options in places where they may get stolen.

Brownings are ok bushnells are ok

My spypoints and Moultries have been shi*
 
I bought a couple of stealth cams on Black Friday at academy. I'm super happy with them. They are my first cell cams and I love getting the notifications on my phone for new pics.
 
I'm on my 3rd year with spypoints. I bought the two pack. 1 is going strong. I haven't got a pic from the second one in a couple of weeks. I need to go check it to see if it has a problem. It's on my driveway so I know it should have been activated 4 times a day but I haven't got anything. It says batteries are fine. 🤷🏻‍♂️
 
I've had multiple cameras from Browning, Moultrie, Spypoint, and Tactacam. I'm still using Browning and Tactacam. Spypoints were nothing but trouble. Moultrie's were just ok. Browning's customer service was excellent the one time I used them. For "cheap" cell cams I would buy Browning or Tactacam again. I've never tried Spartan or Reconx or any other "expensive camera.

Spartan is the top of the class for cell cams imo and their cameras and data plans are much more affordable now than they were a few years ago. Their app is really user friendly. I like browning regular cams. I also have some old bushnells that have been really reliable.

Unless they have improved in the last couple years, Tactacams suck. Battery life is poor. Picture quality is terrible. The app sucks. I have some moultries that I am not in love with. Stealth cams have missed a bunch of pics for me.

I only partially agree I would say in high-volume areas where you need cell camera then yeah but otherwise I would do the solar spy points or another solar variation because the Spartans are just so expensive to run, and I'm talking from personal experience because I run six cameras and they just absolutely crush me between batteries and the date of plan, now don't get me wrong. They're my favorite cameras, but I'm just not a big fan of how much they've been costing me.
 
Ordered two Spartans and have them set up. Testing them around the house for a while before I take them to the property. Really hope there's enough of a signal on the ridge to make them usable. We will see..... (was going to go there tomorrow until I looked at the temps, it can wait lol)

......update.... working like a charm! I did have to turn off notifications though... phone was blowing up at night with activity! Very happy with them.

Which ones did you, did you go with the go live? Or go cam? Go cam are not good, go live is amazing
