White bass below chickamauga dam

Was thinking about trying catch a few below the dam. Just wondering if it's good time give it a try? I wore them out last year but seems in was around may.

Stripe are always hit & miss (for me anyway) below Chickamauga.

We were actually catching quite a few a month ago in the slack water areas and eddies. I have no idea if they are still around or not. I haven't been down there in a few weeks.
