Im in the market for a new rifle scope in the $500-$600 price range. My biggest concerns are low light performance and durability/warranty. I've had fantastic luck with the Leupold warranty and I hear the Vortex warranty is strong but I think there may be better glass out there for the money, I just dont have any experience with other brands. I never dial distance or windage on the scope where I'm hunting so something that holds zero will be just fine. Does anybody have any suggestions outside of the vortex diamondback 3.5-10x50 or the Leupold VX-FREEDOM 4-12X50 Hunt-Plex or the VX-FREEDOM 4-12X50 CDS DUPLEX Does anybody have experience with these or comparable suggestions?

Trijicon and swfa if you want a scope durable scope that's gonna do as they should, hold zero and track. The Diamondback was one of the sorriest scopes I've ever looked thru, and the freedom isn't far behind. Especially for the price point. I wouldn't trust either to track properly. For $600, you could bump to a vx3hd and for a little more you can get a vx5. I personally wouldn't have another, but people like them. The glass and eye box are great in the vx5. Everyone gets caught up on a warranty, but I wouldn't buy a scope knowing I'm gonna have to use it. Nothing worse than a failure on a hunt and the warranty won't cover that.

I own Leupold and Vortex as well as others. My Leupold is the fastest sight picture by far. I don't think you can go wrong with Leupold.

EDIT: I have never had to deal with their warranty. Since I just realized that's what you asked. 🙃
