WOW! That 88 driver sure has alot of fans standing up throwing the ole middle finger to the 18 driver! I sure would hate to be in Kyles shoes for the next few races...lol Wonder if he will get the traditioanl beer can toss next week at Darlington from Jr Nation?

I wouldn't worry toomuch if I were Kyle. If there's one place JR fans don't go to, it's victory lane :D

Also, I don't recall every meeting a tough JR fan, or one who spent very much time at the dentist either. :D

Seriously, that was a tough break actually for both of them. Cause I think Kyle could have passed him clean on the next lap without touching him. But you know JR could taste it at that point. Neither one of them were meant to win the race anyways, if Hamlin couldn't do it, glad to see Boyer up there.

All three of the principals were gracious in their post race interviews, and I thought that they all showed a lot of class, something the redneck fans could take a lesson from. Number 11 even said that "it just wasn't in God's plan for him to win tonight". I wonder if thinks that God let the air out of his right front tire?

You know, got to thinking, Jr's dad would have absolutely loved #18 and the way that he races. Ain't that ironic!

As I said in another thread, Busch did not intentionally spin the 88. They were racing hard and clean.

Dale Sr. would have said it was just 'one of them racing deals.' And as someone else mentioned, Dale Sr. would have loved having Kyle Busch in the Cup series.

I was impressed at how well Jr. handled the post race interview . Tony Stewart would have wen't off the deep end ............
Kyle and Tony make good teammates . I'm sure Kyle will be the center of attention from the Jr. Nation . :)

I don't recall the "like JR" part of that interview. My understanding from that was that he used to be popular for wrecking folks, and getting into bad news media coverage, then turned the corner and was popular because he was knocking down wins.

And by the way, those quotes are true.
Folks HAVE to like JR purely on account of his popularity, because as the wins column shows, there are many a better driver out there than he is.

Not that I wouldn't trade positions with him in the blink of a gnats eye.

Sr. would have adopted him!

If SR was driving that #8 car with 2 to go, directly behind Kyle, Kyle would NOT have been running at the finish though!

88 is just whining and crying just like tam mates......... get the kid a pacifier.

you thank kyle may want some of jr's a$$ for taking his ride.makes sense to me.

I would say Kyle knows he has it better now at Gibbs than he ever would have had it behind the poster children at HMS. Didnt care much for Kyle, but I am like agreeing with Radars sarcastic relpy... he and Tony DO make good teammates... with the wins from Nationwide and Sprint so far this year... I would say they are pretty good teammates...

I like the idea of Jr going to HMS afterall... at least now you dont have to see Jimmy and Jeff hugging Rick much this year!

There is a difference, IMO, between "rattling someones' cage," and intentionally pulling up on the inside of a turn, knowing the draft would cause him to get loose and slide up into the upper car. He will be repaid, guarantee.
