I have got 3 flocks located from Deer Muzzleloader. I plan on busting up and calling back a mixed group of jakes and hens on Friday, and then waiting at a gobbler flock roost on Saturday evening.

I opened the mail today and got permission to hunt on alittle over 400 acres.I had given up on this property after asking several times this summer.
I reckon I'll be hunting and scouting for the next 2 weeks. I figure there is bound to be a bird or 2 there.

Gives me hope for the 700 acres I want more than anything...didn't talk to the owner in person, but the guy renting the house on the property did and called me and said for some reason the owner didn't want anyone on the land, and was adamant about it....but heck, I haven't even talked to him myself as he lives an hour away but maybe I should make more of an effort and talk to him in person.

Ive got a flock of 13 hens and 6 gobblers using my place. I m going to try to kill the one that Im allowed. Not sure If Ill shoot a gobbler though, I really want to hear all the gobbling I can this Spring.
