Why go out west of Elk?

We stayed in Salina few years back while working there. Actually I think the tires that are on my dually right now came from there. First year of Covid.early summer had a heck of a storm come through. 60 degrees and everything we had stuck.

What do they mean incidental harvest?
My neighbor on the ridge above me swears he heard a bugle earlier this week.
Claiborne county
The way that I understand it is you can be hunting deer by any legal means, and if an elk walks in then you can take it legally. That's if you are not in the core counties. There is a stipulation that you have to call TWRA to inspect your kill if you take one

Probably never can go out west to hunt for Elk. I have MS and it is just too hard to do for me. I am planning on going out to Kansas to hunt mule deer this year! I own property there so it is legit.
You can do it on private property with bringing your own camp set up with use of 4 wheeler or horse included for under 5k total trip. I do it for under 3k diy style on public land

My main reason was tired of not getting drawn here and twra. A good example is what they've done in Catoosa with the tags and no more bonus bucks

Does incidental apply to Oak Ridge WMA? Hmm. One was accidentally killed there many years ago.
Wait a minute, part of OR is in Anderson county. Part of it is in Roane.
