Super nice fish!
That's from a Lowrance HDS Live. I had to have one at my console for scanning after I saw how much better images I was getting. I couldn't get anything close to that out of my Humminbird. That down imaging is far, far superior to my Garmin 93SV Echomaps. Granted, my units are not the newer UHD.
I have an hds live and have never once used the sonar on it. Just use it for active target. May have to startThat's from a Lowrance HDS Live. I had to have one at my console for scanning after I saw how much better images I was getting. I couldn't get anything close to that out of my Humminbird.
Tims is awful! Hate that lake. I may sneak in a few times mid weeks during summer break. But it is amazing halloween to Christmas. The only thing i like about it is there are a handful of docks that are loaded with crappie. We got out for the first time Sunday on Tim's Ford and it was busy as expected. We eased back to a cove and anchored down until a Malibu Wakesetter blaring their speakers eased past us and anchored within bow range. They killed the music for a bit but then I saw a bottle being passed around and eventually the music went stupid loud so we pulled anchor and went elsewhere. They all looked to be in their 20's so on daddy's boat and there were 16 on there (18 counting the 2 that came up on a jet ski). The lake is full of douchebags and it doesn't matter what they're driving.
You talking about Live ScopeWake boats are the worst, but jet skis and ski boats aren't far behind. I guess boat manufacturers had to come up with something to sell to morons that can't catch fish.

No doubt. Beautiful lake aesthetically. WouldIt's a love/hate relationship.
I sold my Garmin and Livescope, and kept 1 Garmin unit up front for maps while trolling. I like the Lowrance units better for down and side imaging. I have Active Target on my trolling motor but I rarely if ever, turn it on. I'm much better at finding fish with mapping and down imaging, then just staying on them with waypoints on the map.I have an hds live and have never once used the sonar on it.
