Winchester 37a, your thoughts.

Bought a couple nice looking 37a single shots in 20ga a while back, one is standard size and one is a youth model, been thinking about polishing the barrel and see what it likes to shoot.

Y'all think it'll work out ??

I have the same gun in "youth".
My first gun my dad bought me.
I still love shooting it but the stock is a little short now.

Came with an imp/mod choke though.
Not much good for anything very far away.

I'd say it will work great for turkey hunting if you can utilize some #9 TSS turkey loads.
Seriously, likely more deadly patterns at 40 yards than most 12 ga "turkey" shotguns using traditional lead turkey shells.
