Any of y'all have one of these rifles or have any history with one? Not being a Winchester guy, I know nothing about them but have an opportunity to buy one at what I believe to be a really good price.

I've got one that was my father's. I like it, but it's got sentimental value to me. There was a recall on this gun probably 45 years or more ago, but I don't remember what it was for. My dad sent it to winchester and they fixed it.

They had a recall to replace the firing pin and this one has had that done. It also has 2 magazines with it. I'm considering this one pretty strongly. As if I need it

I have my grsndpa's model 100 in .308 with a Wesver 4x in tipoff rings. I shoot a light load of 3031 snd Hornady 150's through it but I've never killed a deer with it. Mine shoots ok, if I liked it I'd definitely snag it.
