WMA Turkey?

What are the better WMAs for turkey in the East TN area? I love in maryville and can drive a hour to hour and a half or so?

If east TN is anything like West TN, your not going to get much helpful advice about WMAs. Public land turkeys are tough already. If someone knows of a good public place they'll try to keep it a secret. Not that you wont get any advice, but i would take it with a grain of salt and spend as much time as possible exploring the different WMAs yourself.

Not Cherokee, I know that. That's serious advise. You will wear your boots our before killing a bird.

mt.roosevelt is good. there are a few around tellico lake but they get hammered. chickamauga is covered up with birds.

I was actually planning a trip with my buddy to Roosevelt this coming Saturday. I've deer hunted and squirrel hunted out there but not turkey yet.
