My comment was not directed at you killmode or anyone person for that fact. I personally don't care as long as you ain't hunting on the property next to mine :)

oh well you are gonna get that, some are just that way....usually the turkey forums are pretty good but there are always "those guys" in a group (again not talking about any one person in this thread)
 
Killmode, just be careful feeding them in such a way.... "rotten" corn can infect a flock of turkeys and kill them all.... If you're going to feed them, do it in such a way that the corn is highly unlikely to get wet... when it gets moldy, that's when things can start going down hill.

If you need birds/animals chummed into a place where you dictate to make it easier for you to kill one than you are lazy. This isn't a difficult concept.

If you need bait to to ensure a dead bird/animal than you probably don't know the prey you seek or are too lazy to learn how to effectively kill said prey.

What use are turkey pictures? "Oh Look a turkey", is about all it's good for.

I understand it for deer scouting and censusing the herd with regards to deer. But the whole chum up the turkeys stuff a few weeks before the season is garbage.

Sorry to be so blunt, but obviously you struck a nerve :)
 
I had never even thought of feeding turkeys pre season before reading this thread. I never considered it difficult to find a few spots where the birds roost and then hunt those spots... The hard part is getting the spot to yourself on public land and actually getting the bird in range.

I have really liked my Tom Teaser mouth calls. I bought 3 at Nwtf, and really liked them. Great sounds and not too much break in time.
