Wool socks

Good thread here.

Smartwool. It's made a huge difference in how my feet feel. I just can't explain it. I've even gone to working in lightweight smartwool even in summertime. It seems to reduce the fatigue factor that cotton puts on my feet.

In the last 20 years or so as far as I know my feet haven't gotten cold no matter what I am wearing, neuropathy has solved that problem, created others. When it's bitter out I constantly wiggle my toes and feet, they always sweat where I might be over doing it, beats frostbite I guess :(

I wear a thin to medium pair of Smartwool socks with only 400g insulated boots. I have worn those two pairs so much that I really need to replace them. I have several pair of the Fox River liner socks and those really make a difference in my opinion.
